Many times, we judge people by their physical appearances. It is without a doubt that we might be addressed by the way we dressed. However, what defines us as individuals is the internal potentials that only unveil themselves when circumstances demand.

Many might appear beautiful and/or intelligent. Appreciating these traits is not a bad thing to do. However, there is more to a gentle lion and a beautiful peacock. Many are beautiful on the outside but brutal on the inside. Many are not-so-good looking on the outside but are outstanding on the inside. Not all that glitter are gold. Not all that wander are lost. We do not always want to judge by physical appearances.

“A wood might remain many years in the sea but it would never become a crocodile.” — Congolese proverb
We will only be able to perform to the extent of our internal capabilities. Physical performances are strengths from the internal. Many have hidden potentials that are only unveiled when circumstances require. We do not want to ridicule anyone. Many might be naturally gentle but their inner strengths are unimaginable. On the contrary, many are very outspoken and have captivating behaviors, additionally. We want to respect everyone for who they are and tolerate them as such.

Additionally, I have learned many times that when wisdom speaks, knowledge keeps quiet and listens. It is not always about the first few scenes, the ending scene matters. Respect others and value yourself. Get married to intellectuality and not just beauty. Hire intelligence and not just buoyancy. Focus more on the long-term and not just the short-term.
