With every obstacle, there is always an opportunity

It is okay to ask questions; okay to let out the tears, okay to feel neglected, okay to take time out, but it is never okay not to see and make use of the opportunities therein.

We all have joyful and great moments in life. But as we move around expressing the joy and privileges, we should always think of and anticipate dark times. Whether we expect it or not, a dark moment in our lives will always come — it is simply part of life’s syllabus. Now, it is our humanly required responsibility to prepare for the opportunity therein before and during its arrival. Yes! We might not know the exact obstacle to anticipate, when, and how it will unveil itself, however, the mental power, physical strength, and inter-personal connections we’ve been developing ourselves with, will be the countering and advantageous factor whenever it arrives. “If God isn’t going to use it to your advantage, He wouldn’t have made it happen.” — Joel Osteen

In general, challenges, obstacles, and tribulations of life don’t unveil themselves to lay us down — they appear to make us strong; to challenge the burning energy within us — energy that isn’t easy to acknowledge when things are going right. “When preparation overcomes challenges, success is inevitable.” T.A.A.G.

Many have come before us that has encountered the same or greater obstacles as we will or are currently experiencing. Their positive preparations got prevailed and their success eventually got inevitable. These occurred because of how they welcomed the obstacles and their ability to trust in God and acknowledge the opportunity therein. Let’s look at prophet Yuusuf (Joseph): he was able to get victorious by calmly undergoing the training and skills as prerequisites needed to suffice the awaiting greater opportunities. Those trials and challenging moments were his dark moments but he took advantage of them and made positive use of them. If Yuusuf were to get to the throne (Prime Minister) without encountering those obstacles, he might not be vindictive of his capabilities and God’s promise in his life.

As you are reading this and meditating through it, I urge you to see the opportunity hidden in the obstacle you are currently facing. If no obstacle yet, please make sure you do not lose inner strength and mental firmness at all times because the trial moments are coming. Stay blessed!
